Almost every computer, independent of the operating system, has a Web-Browser Program installed. This is all that is required for users of qs-STAT Web. Quality related information such as charts and capability indices can be retrieved fast and easily, without having to have a lot of knowledge about the use of qs-STAT. There is no setup time what so ever required on the individual workstations. The loading data and evaluation user interface uses .ASPX pages which are centrally saved on a server and can be customized as needed. With qs-STAT Web, the user can then browse through production data and statistical evaluations.

Evaluation from “Anywhere" 

With qs-STAT Web it is possible to perform an evaluation on every workstation using a browser without having to have qs-STAT installed locally. Additional detail pages can be reached over navigation elements. In following pages, selections from databases can be performed as well as the associated numerical values, capability indices, process charts or reports can be displayed. As an internet connection to the qs-STAT We server is sufficient, quality information can be retrieved from anywhere in the world.

Evaluation with database selections

In addition to the possibility of location independent evaluation, qs-STAT We is also capable of displaying production locations laid out clearly and interactively. Easy handling allows for fast access to the evaluation results. A selection as “Part description: is sufficient to retrieve the desired data including graphics and reports. A visual alarm display can immediately indicate on which production line/machine an alarm has occurred (change of color). With this, it is possible to review all process data quickly and easily with the help of qs-STAT Web. For a full and detailed process analysis, qs-STAT should be used in addition.

Guided creation of an .ASPX Web page with the Web Designer In order to be able to use the Q-DAS functionalities from each browser, an .ASPX Web page(s) has to be created on the server first. This can be done using the Web Designer of qs-STAT ME 6. After the visual design in qs-STAT, the web page is created with all additional information such as pictures, links etc. A wizard guides the user through all the necessary steps to ensure that the result is a functional Web page.
